A student of Tepa Senior High School at Asaman in the Asutifi North District of Ahafo Region is in the custody of Ghana police for allegedly stabbing a buyer in a shop.
The 20-year old student who goes by the name Ebenezer Opoku is currently in the grasp of the Asutifi North District Police Command for stabbing Seidu, 23.
The District Police Commander, DSP Paul Ankan explaining in detail the whole incident, said the deceased, Seidu went to a new buy shop to get some sachet water.
After he bought the water from the shop attendant, he demanded a polythene bag because he thought the quantities he had bought were too much and it should be bagged for him but the shop attended refused.
Then Seidu, the deceased indicated that if any of the water falls down on his way, he will return it for it to be replaced.
As the exchange of words was ongoing between the deceased and the shopkeeper, Ebenezer, who is a friend of the shopkeeper showed up and got himself involved in the matter.
According to reports, Seidu started murmuring while he left to his house but Ebenezer who no one knows what exactly triggered him to follow Seidu to his house just to stab him.
After Ebenezer stabbed Seidu’ he tried to flee but residents caught him and handed him over to the Kenyasi police.
However, doctors have confirmed Seidu dead because he had a deep cut on his back.
