Actress Akuapem Poloo’s court case has been adjourned to January 29, 2021, according to a report reaching browngh.com.
The reason behind this new twist is that the prosecutor, Chief Inspector Agartha Asantewaa who is in charge of the case is on leave.
According to report, Agartha was absent in court on Monday, November 23, 2020, and the presiding prosecutor Her Honour Christina Cann adjourned the case and ordered that prosecution file all thy necessary disclosure documents including witness statements before the next court sitting.
It was reported that Akuapem Poloo was present in court when the case was called.
Poloo displayed her naked picture with her son on social media on June 30, 2020, pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
She was slapped with three charges of publication of obscene materials, engaging in domestic violence, conduct that in any way undermines another person’s privacy or integrity, and engaging in domestic violence namely conduct that in any way detracts or is likely to detract from another person’s dignity and worth as a human being.
She is expected to appear before the court on January 29, 2021.
