Ghana Premier league giant, Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club has appointed former Black Stars manager, Mariano Barreto as their new technical manager.
Marrano Barreto will replace Abdul Gazale after he was sacked following his inability to take the club to where it belongs.
Meanwhile, this becomes Kotoko’s fourth manager to coach the club this season.
Barreto coached Ghana’s national team from 2003 to 2004, before going on to manage Maritimo, Al Nassr FC and AEL Limassol, among other clubs.
Currently, Johnson Snith remains the assistant coach of the club.
