Ban ‘Insane’ Counsellor Lutterodt From Your Platforms-Gender Minister Tells Media

The minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection Cynthia Morrison has blasted Counsellor Lutterodt over his rape comment that has caused an outrage on social media.

Hon. Cynthia Morrison described Counsellor Lutterodt’s comment as ‘insane’.

According to her, Counsellor Lutterodt should be banned from speaking on issues on media platforms with immediate effect.

“I was surprised a sane human being can sit on radio and television and make some utterances” Mrs Morrison disclosed on Class FM.

“Has he raped somebody before? Does he know how rape victims feel about being raped… it is sad that the interview went on. What was the programme about? How can somebody behave like that? This is so insane. This is just not right,” She added.

Mrs Cynthia Morrison also disclosed that Ama K Abebrese reached out to her concerning gathering signatures for the petitions in order to ban the self-proclaimed counsellor from featuring on radio and Tv stations.

Ghanaians have called for the head of Counsellor Lutterodt over a statement he made on Adom TV concerning rape.

The popular radio/TV pundit opined that every rape victim at a point enjoys the act.

Some celebrities like Ama K Abebrese, Juliet Ibrahim, Lydia Forson, EL, Edem, Jessica Saforo among others have slammed Counsellor Lutterodt over his rape comment.

Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has also condemned Counsellor Lutterodt’s comment on rape.
