The news was revealed by a colleague Lecturer Poku Adusei.
He revealed that Prof. Emmanuel Yaw Benneh was murdered in Thursday today but was discovered today.
“It appears to be an act perpetuated about three days ago [Thursday], but it was just discovered this morning,” – Poku Adusei.
The body of the murdered Professor was picked by the Police this morning at his Adjirigano residence.
There was no sign of a break of forced entry into the mansion.
The houseboy Isaac Botchway who lives at Accra Central but serves the Professor whenever he calls on him revealed to the media that he last saw his employer at about 8 pm on Thursday.
“I called him the next day [Friday], but he did not respond. The gardener came to work this morning [Saturday] and when he did not find any sign of him, he knocked at his door but there was no response,”
“The gardener then went to inform his [Prof Benneh’s] sister who does not live far away from the house. They went for a carpenter to force the door open,”
“When the door was forced open, he was found dead,” he narrated
The Professor was found in a pool of blood with his hands and legs all tied.
