The father of Ebony and the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Bony To The World Records, Mr Nana Opoku Kwarteng known in the showbiz fraternity as Starboy Kwarteng has revealed that the CEO of Rufftown Records Ricky Nana Agyemang aka Bullet has not given him Ebony’s song as he promised on various media platforms.
It could be recalled that the father of Ebony earlier this year was involved in a heated rift with Bullet after the demise of his daughter, Ebony Reigns.
The brouhaha between the father of the late Ebony and the former manager of Ebony, Bullet led to the latter denouncing his position as the manager of the departed songstress where he stated emphatically that he was no longer going to deal with Ebony’s unreleased songs-not even the ones he wrote.
Bullet who was fed up with Starbwoy Kwarteng’s claims against him decided to hand over the songs of Ebony to him(Mr. Kwarteng).
However, Starboy Kwarteng in a recent interview with Offei Wonuanie on Radio 1’s Entertainment Today Show disclosed that Bullet has failed to give him the songs of his daughter as he promised.
“I have not received a single song from Bullet, he promised to give me the unreleased songs of Nana Hemaa when we meet at MUSIGA Office, but since then I have never heard from him” Starbwoy Kwarteng revealed.
Starbwoy accused Bullet of giving the songs to his signed artists; Wendy Shay or Fantana to perform.
” He failed to give me the names of Nana Hemaa’s unreleased songs, I’m not sure but maybe that is the songs his artist are performing” He wondered.
According to the father of the late Ebony Reigns, he is fighting Bullet in order to claim what rightly belongs to his daughter because she worked tirelessly and wouldn’t let her labour go waste.
“I’m only trying to get Nana Hemaa what she deserves. Everything I am doing today is in her interest because she worked so hard for this and it is my responsibility that her hard for this and it is my responsibility that her hard-work doesn’t be in vain” Mr Kwarteng stressed.
The late Ebony Reigns whose real name is Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng met her untimely demise through a ghastly motor accident together with her two friends on February 8, 2018.
Ebony Reigns released back to back hit songs like ‘Date Ur Fada’,’Kupe’,’Maame Hwe’, ‘Hustle’,’Poison’,’Sponsor’ among others.
She, however, made history by winning the ‘Artiste of the year’ at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMA).

She was however tipped by Industry Players, Entertainment analysts and music enthusiasts to win the award due to her tremendous work in the year under review.
She also picked two other awards at the 2018 VGMA-‘Afro Pop Song of the Year’ with ‘Sponsor’ and her album ‘Bonyfied’ was adjudged ‘ Album of the Year’.
