Chelsea delay applying to CAS to freeze two-window transfer ban


A report by The Telegraph says, Chelsea have not yet applied to the Court of Arbitration for Sport to try to freeze the two-window transfer ban .

Just this month Chelsea failed with an  appeal to Fifa, and confirmed they have taken their case to CAS in a bid to get their ban on signing players for two transfer windows overturned.

But, according to The UK Telegraph,  Chelsea have not applied to CAS to suspend the ban while their appeal is considered with the club and lawyers deliberating over the best course of action.

Information in the media reveals that, Chelsea can sign loan players at the club currently but can’t sign any player from another club in England or outside England.

However, players who are on loan currently at Chelsea are striker Gonzalo Higuain and midfielder Mateo Kovacic.

Meanwhile, Eden Hazard is reportedly joining Spanish giants Real Madrid, but the likes of Ngolo Kante and Ruben Loftus Cheek are out with injuries.
