DKB Discourages Ghanaian Artists On London O2 Arena Concert, Fan Jabs Him

DKB, Ghanaian comedian has been talking about the London O2 arena show.

According to DKB, if artists from Ghana will try to have a concert there, it will be very difficult as there is no unity in the music industry.

In another tweet, the comedian has then talked about populations between Ghana and Nigeria.

Although he is trying to discourage out artists here, a fan has boldly gone against him based on this issue.

He wrote;

“Davido sells 20k capacity 02 arena & our media are mounting pressure on our artists to do same!
Naija is 7 times more populous than us.

So technically as Shatta Wale & Sark parked the 02 indigo of 2,000 capacity.
If they were Nigerians that’s 14,000 people!

Power in numbers!”

However, award-winning Journalist Kafui Dey responded by saying that having a successful concert is not about one’s country population.

He wrote;

“Population has nothing to do with it. Jamaica in 1979, 2 years before Bob Marley’s death, had 2 million people but he was filling venues for reggae concerts like nobody else.”
