Ghanaian rap queen, Ruth Eno Adjoa Amankwah Nyame Adom, popularly known on stage as Eno Barony has cautioned Ghanaians not to tag her as a female rapper.
Eno Barony who has been in the news lately over her feud with some of her colleagues namely; Sista Afia and Freda Rhymz has said that she can only be tagged as a rapper not a ‘female rapper’ as Ghanaians used to call her.
She said that both male and female rappers use the same microphone and since there is no such thing as a ‘female microphone’, she cannot be categorized by her gender.
This is because Eno strongly believes that she can battle any rapper in Ghana(male and female) so therefore, she is a rapper but not a female rapper.
In an interview on Hitz FM monitored by browngh.com Eno said; Don’t put me in the “female rapper” category. I am a rapper. There’s nothing like a male microphone. We all use the same microphone.
