Ghanaian Gospel group, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, has asked the public, particularly, their colleague gospel musicians to desist from sampling their songs.
However, they have said one can sample their songs only if he seeks their formal permission first.
Daughters of Glorious Jesus, which is made up of Cynthia Appiadu, Edna Sarpong, and Monica Owusu Ansah observed that they’ve absolutely no problem with musicians trying to rendition their songs in the church because it is all for the good of the ministry.
They, however, mentioned that they are not cool with gospel musicians sampling their songs for commercial gains.
Daughters of Glorious Jesus added that it will be right seeking proper authorization from them stating that churning out good songs isn’t easy.
They did not threaten to file lawsuit against defaulters.
