Johnson Asiedu Nketia aka General Mosquito of NDC,says the Electoral Commission (EC) cannot hold meetings in any of the cities or towns in Ghana during this coronavirus saga except only for Togo or Burkina Faso.

The renowned politico stressed that President Nana Akufo-Addo has extended the ban on public gatherings by an additional two weeks which does not allow the EC to hold a meeting with members who are more than 25.
According to him, he indicated that his party has officially lodged complain to the Airport Police for the EC’s illegal meeting at the City Escape Hotel in Accra.

The NDC Chief Scribe indicated that, he was very astonished about how the EC could go on with their meeting despite the ex-parte injunction by the Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram, Sam George.

“You look at the injunction very well there was no way the EC could hold any meeting in Ghana unless maybe Burkina Faso or Togo. I don’t understand why the Electoral Commission (EC) cannot adhere to rules and regulations or they are bigger than the country Ghana,’’
