Norwegian international, Erling Braut Haaland is reportedly set to reject the opportunity to Chelsea as he doesn’t consider the London-based club a big enough club.
Following his move from Red Bull Salzburg to Borussia Dortmund, coveted teenaged star striker has made name for himself throughout Europe considering his lethal pace and scoring abilities infront of goal.
As such, the 20-year-old forward could be on the move this summer, and every top side in Europe has been linked with his signature.
But speaking in an interview about the teenager’s future, Mino Raiola, Haaland’s agent revealed that only ten clubs will be able to afford him, with Chelsea, Liverpool and both Manchester clubs as well Barcelona and Real Madrid thought to be among them.
Interestingly, amidst the varied calls by top european clubs to have Haaland join them, talkSPORT’s European football expert Mark Langdon recently revealed the Premier League is Haaland’s most likely destination due to financial problems at Barcelona and Real Madrid.
However, according to respected German publication BILD, the Borussia Dortmund forward is only considering six clubs as opposed to ten – and Chelsea is not one of them.
Recent reports claimed Roman Abramovich has given the green light for a big-money bid, but accordig to a publication by BILD on a potential transfer move of Haaland to Chelsea claims Erling Haaland doesn’t want to take an intermediate step in his career and wants to instead join ‘an absolute top club’ – with Chelsea not fitting the striker’s requirements
