The Chief Executive Officer of the National Petroleum Authority and a staunch supporter of the New Patriotic Party ( NPP), Dr Mustapha Abdul Hamid has told Ghanaians point blank that whether they like it or not, the building of the national cathedral shall come to pass.
According to Mustapha Abdul Hamid, Ghanaians can go to the extreme of drinking all the seawater and even swallow the fishes and all the creatures in it into their stomach, they will still build the national cathedral.
The former Minister for Inner City and Zongo Development had this to say after Ghanaians especially the youth said an undeveloped country like Ghana needs more factories and companies to keep the youth busy instead of building a resting place for God Almighty.
Meanwhile, his comment has brought up lots of reactions from netizens as he receives heavy punches and backlash.
It is clear that nothing will change the thoughts of these ‘old men’ from building the cathedral.
