Ex-president J.A Kufuor speaks on Kasoa ritual murder (Video)

Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has spoken on the recent Kasoa ritual murder of a 10-year-old boy.

Recall that Two teenagers were arrested on Saturday, April 3, 2021, for the murder of a 10-year-old boy identified as Ishmael.

According to reports in the media, the suspects Felix Nyarko, 18, Nicholas Kini, 19, had killed the boy for money rituals.

They were apprehended by the Kasoa Divisional Police Command following a distress call about a homicide incident in Lamptey Mills.

Reacting to the incident, Ex-president Kufuor has blamed the influx of Juju and mallams selling/advertising their services and products on various media platforms to be the main cause of the unfortunate incident.

He called on TV and radio stations as well as stakeholders in the society to help stop juju and mallams from advertising their services and products on TV and radio stations.

“How could young people kill. What do they know? Unfortunately you media people you have given so much exposure to tricksters and fraudulent people promising everything. When you look at them you should know that these are people who clearly who are themselves just bad and ignorant.

That is not the way for our society to go so I think media, the leadership of institutions should rise to the occasion and cut out anything that could defraud society and also make access of the community, we need to do that.

Media and authority too, life, social and community leadership should come up and tackle all these people who are now virtually hijacking the airwaves with vain promises and trickery. They should be eradicated than even the diseases we are talking about.” Ex-president Kufuor disclosed in an interview with Joy News.
