News reaching browngh.com has it that Ghana Football Association (GFA) has cancelled the 2019/20 football season, browngh.com report.
Report says this decision came after the Executive Council (Exco) held a meeting pertaining the current situation at hand and how the rest of the season will be handled.
Thus, after the meeting came to an end,it was agreed by all parties that the season should be called off.
Meanwhile,the season has been on a long break since early March when the President of Ghana placed a ban on social gathering as one of the measures against the spread of coronavirus.
The clubs have released their players home with no information on when football will return again.
According to the GFA, details of their next move after the season cancellation will be made public later.
For the 2nd time in a row, the Ghana football season has come to an unexpected end with the first being the season cancellation as a result of the famous football corruption Exposé dubbed Number 12.
