Fear and panic grip Ghanaians as gunshots were heard on Wednesday 3rd March 2021 from the presidency, Jubilee House.

It is unclear what caused the gunshots but the office of the presidency has refused to comment on the incident.

According to a report by 3news.com, residents around the Jubilee House claimed that they heard gunshots blare from inside the enclave.

From what we have gathered the gunshots were from the Ghana Armed Forces(GAF) who were rehearsing ahead of the 64th independence celebrations.

This year’s independence celebrations will be held at the forecourt of the jubilee House with few officers as a result of the covid-19 pandemic.
