The mother of the 9-year-old boy Oswald Gennuh who caused a frenzy on social media with his ‘our day’ list has revealed that his phone has not stopped beeping since last night.
The mother of Oswald, Rita Gennuh revealed in an interview on Accra-based Joy FM that since her son’s ‘our day’ list went viral she has got lots of calls, text messages and mobile money donations to help her fulfil her son’s our day list.
She also credited Oswald’s teacher identified as Mrs Appiah whom she mentioned in his letter for helping him settle well in school.
“Mrs. Appiah is Oswald’s favourite teacher, I have to give thumbs up to her because she’s really helped him to settle in school. Oswald is 9 years, he turned 9 not too long, he is stepping into year 4 in September,” she said.

Oswald who is a student of Christ Ambassadors School in Dansoman wrote a seven-point note to his mom on what he expected on his ‘our day’.
The note caught the attention of big brands like Pizza Hut,Dominos Pizza,Joy FM,Pulse Ghana,KFC Ghana,Access Dental,Asheshi University among others.
