Astute journalist and host of the 20th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) , Kwame Sefa Kayi, has shared his candid opinion on how the two main instigators of the commotion at the recently held awards ceremony, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy should be dealt with.
According to the renowned broadcaster, if he were in charge of the Police, he would detain the two multiple award-winning reggae and dancehall artistes for a couple of days.
Speaking on his Okokrokoo show on Peace FM, he said “I would detain them for three to four days in order to re-align their brains,”
He also added that “I would take them to court and remand them for two (2)weeks or more.”
Sefa Kayi vowed he would make Stonebwoy and Stonebwoy pay a price for their needless action at the event attended by high profile and influential personalities, if he has the power.
“I will also make them sign a Bond of good behaviour for 3 years and default of that should send any of them to prison.” he opined.
Stonebwoy pulled a gun on stage on Shatta Wale and his fans at Ghana’s music biggest night on the wee hours of Sunday, May 19, 2019.
It started when Stonebwoy was called up the stage to receive the award for ‘Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year’.
Shatta Wale walked on the stage with his fans allegedly to congratulate Stonebwoy for the award but the move was interpreted by Stonebwoy’s team as an attempt to protest against the award going to their favorite musician.
