He added that he also reported the incident to the police and that he was never arrested as it was reported.
Joshua Clottey revealed that the footballer speculated that he was arrested in order to tarnish his image.
“I am telling the footballer that he lied on me and is not good. I want to solve the issue amicably with him and we forgive each other. Since I have bitterness in me for speculating fake reports about me, I want him to tell the Media, family and Police that he was the one who hit me first and I hit him back. I’m worried about what the media is talking about because nobody has heard the side of my story.” Joshua Clottey told DJ Nyaami in an interview on SVTV Africa.
The boxer threatened to curse the footballer if he doesn’t come out to clear the air on what actually happened.
