There has been a new development in the Kasoa ritual murder of 10-year-old by two teenagers.
According to the prosecutor, Chief Inspector Ernest Agbo, the teenagers initially wanted to kidnap him to demand a ransom of GH¢5,000, before proceeding with the ritual.
The prosecutor in their first court appearance also revealed that the two suspects Felix and Nicholas had plans to take the Money and add￼ Ishmael,the deceased to it and present to a spiritualist for rituals .
The accused initially planned to kidnap deceased Ishmael and demand ransom of GH¢5,000 from his mother, which they would add to send him for the rituals,” the prosecutor said.
The prosecutor said for some time now, Felix had been watching TV channels that entertained mallams and other spiritualists to promote their prowess in making people instant millionaires.
Meanwhile, the Ofaakor District Magistrate Court has remanded into police custody the two teenagers who allegedly killed the 10-year-old boy last Saturday at Coca-Cola, near Lamptey Mills in Kasoa.
The two suspects, Felix Nyarko, 15, and Nicholas King, 18 on Saturday, April 3, lured and killed a 10-year-old.
Their remand is to allow the police to conduct more investigations into the matter. The court was presided over by Her Worship, Mrs. Rosemond Vera Ocloo.
