Korle Bu Teaching Hospital after discharging seven patients who recovered fully from the deadly Coronavirus, management says the facility is now ready to accept more Covid-19 patients.
According to the Chief Executive Officer of the hospital in a statement issued on Monday, the seven patients “were discharged after series confirmatory tests returned negative”.
Director of Medical Affairs at Korle Bu in an interview on TV3 News 360 on Monday said, the hospital will welcome all patients and treat them accordingly.
“Anyboy, it can staff on non-staff, if they come out here with any symptom of Covid-19, we are here trained and ready to treat the person,” he said.
However, the Ghana Health Service indicated that the country’s Coronavirus cases count 2,719 with 294 recoveries as of Monday, May 4, 2020.
