A former member of the Shatta Movement Group-Militants, Joint 77 has disclosed that Shatta Wale went to Kumasi to tap into the Kumerica trend.
According to Joint 77, Kumerica already had it’s hype before Shatta Wale went to tap into it.
Speaking in an interview with Mercury Quaye on Hitz FM on Wednesday, ‘Joint 77 disclosed that Shatta Wale had no plan to help Kumasi-based artistes when he featured them on his song dubbed ‘Ahodwo Las Vegas’ but it was just a strategy to tap into the Kumerica trend.
“Kumerica already had its hype before Shatta Wale went to tap into it.He didn’t really go there to help them.He just went to tap into their hype” Joint 77 disclosed.
Shatta Wale’s ‘Ahodwo Las Vegas’ features Kumasi artistes such as Kofi Jamar, K. Flick, Phrimpong,Phaize,K Paluta, Amerado and Ypee.
