Celebrated Ghanaian rapper, singer and record producer, Elorm Adablah known professionally as E. L is calling on his colleague musicians to join forces to build a better industry.
Speaking in an interview with Amansan Krakye on Cape Coast-based Radio Central on Monday February 11, 2019, the popular rapper talked about his life, career, and the Ghana music industry.
The 33-year-old revealed that he’s still a kid and not ready for marriage because he’s not been pressured to marry therefore he’s waiting patiently for the wife material to come before he settles down.
“There is no pressure on me to marry, we are kids still. I’m not grown so I’m still waiting for the right person to come one day,”he said
On his career, the former BBnz recording artist assured his fans that he is working tirelessly and will soon release a new single
Touching on the suffering music industry, E. L who bagged five (5) awards at the 2016 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) including the highly coveted Artiste of the Year award, stated unambiguously that, Ghanaian musicians can put Ghana on the musical map if they unite and push a common agenda – something the industry lacks.
According to the “Martha” crooner, the music industry is not a machine or material thing, it’s a human institution so artists coming together to support a common objective will take them far, in his words “the sky is the limit”.
“We have to get together more. The industry is not a machine or material thing, it’s a human institution so the more we come together and make the right decisions regarding not just we but the people after us we will build a better industry.
We need to come together, once we are able to do that, the sky is the limit. I always encourage my fellow artists, let’s come together to make we are building a better industry”, E. L stated.
