Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie has joined Kwame A Plus party known as “The People’s Project”(TPP) in his mission to rally the youth to rise up against the two giants’ political parties in Ghana.
A Plus who campaigned vigorously for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) headed by President Nana Addo Darkwa Akufo-Addo during the 2016 general elections has for some time now been bashing the government for failing to deliver their campaign promises.
A-Plus has been vocal and exposing corruption in the NPP government just like he did to the National Democratic Party (NDC) when they were in power.
Recently, A Plus brands President Akufo-Addo as a disappointment
“The President lied and he has been dishonest with Ghanaians, it is a fact. Every security service involved in the investigation of the Takoradi kidnapping must be sacked.
Nana Addo is a disappointment, we cannot give this country to you for you to just sit down and watch these people. Nana Addo is someone that I believed in but I don’t anymore, I only like him as a person”, Kwame A-Plus stated.
On that note, A-Plus is set to form a new movement (more like a political party) that will decide which party stays in power when their conditions are met.
Sarkodie tweeted to tell A-Plus that he fully supports his vision and need further details on the objective of this movement so he can join and contribute his quota.
