Manchester United Is 'Going Places' Under My Management-Ole Solskjaer

Manchester United are eyeing one of Milan Skriniar or Lautaro Martinez from Inter Milan after the Serie A club incurred a debt, Corriere dello Sport reports.

Inter have reportedly missed a payment for striker Romelu Lukaku and this has triggered a clause that puts them in €50m worth of debt to United.

The Italian side signed Lukaku for €80m in 2019 and agreed to pay the huge fee in installments.

They had been keeping up to date with their payments, but started struggling financially amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a result, Inter recently missed a payment, meaning they are now in £43m worth of debt to United.

One solution will be to sell players to help pay off the debt and Manchester United have their eye on two individuals.

The first is 26-year-old defender Skriniar, who would fix the Red Devils’ centre-back problem in a heartbeat.

The other player who has caught Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s eye is Lautaro Martinez.

Martinez is on the radar of every top club in Europe, but Inter’s alleged debt to United may just give the Red Devils the upper hand.
