It appears that Manchester United are seriously considering Antonio Conte as a replacement for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
According to Alfredo Pedulla of La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Red Devils ‘have made the first contacts’ with the Italian’s representatives.
However, Man United are yet to make a final decision on Solskjaer. The board is currently deciding between sacking the Norwegian immediately or giving him more time.
Conte, who left Inter Milan after the title-winning Serie A campaign of 2020/21, is said to be open to taking charge at Old Trafford despite his concerns about the way the club is run by the American owners.
