Popular Reggae/Dancehall artiste Ras Kuuku has stated emphatically that his gospel song dubbed ‘Gyedie’ is bigger than any gospel song released in 2020.
The gospel reggae song which features gospel crooner MOG Music amassed mixed reactions after it was released.
Some people expressed disappointment in MOG for agreeing to collaborate with the reigning VGMA Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the year.
Reacting to the song getting nomination in the VGMA Best Gospel Song category, Ras Kuuku blasted those who suggested that it was very wrong for gospel artists to feature secular musicians.
Speaking in an interview on 3 FM, Ras Kuuku claimed that his ‘Gyedie’ song is bigger than any gospel song released in 2021.
“My Song ‘Gyedie’ is bigger than every gospel song which came out last year. Whenever I come out with a song, people say Ras Kuuku’s vibes are clean. Everything about Rasta is pure and unique and whenever I do music I make sure I come out with a clean song…I just want to show the gospel artiste that when it comes to that kind of music, we are way better than them “ Ras Kuuku disclosed.
