A resident of Kasoa where the alleged ritual murder of a 10-year-old boy occurred has recounted how her son narrowly escaped the death.
According to the woman identified as Madam Tawiah, her 10-year-old son was the first target.
She recounted that Nicholas, one of the suspected teenagers involved in the alleged ritual killing to ask her lastborn to run an errand for him but he refused.
Madam Tawiah indicated that her son’s refusal to run the errand for Nicholas made him move to the next house where he chanced on Ishmael and killed him instead.
The woman expressed shock at the incident as she claimed that the mother of the deceased sometimes fed Nicholas and used to give him money to take to school.
She thanked God for saving her son from the ritual killing and sympathised with the deceased’s family.
Madama Tawiah used the platform to call on President Nana Akufo-Addo to pass a directive to stop Mallams and Juju men from advertising their products or services on TV and radio.
