Songstress Belinda Nana Akua Amoah who performs under the stage name Mzbel has clashed with Pastor Brian Jones Amoateng over his comment about Mmebusem’s comedy skit.
Mmebusem, whose real name is Justice Hymns, in recent times has been releasing skits dubbed ‘Ghana Jesus’ – mimicking Jesus Christ.
The series has won the hearts of many Ghanaians due to the actor’s acting prowess he exhibits in the series.
However, a section of the public including Pastor Amoateng are vexed with the Kumawood actor for mocking Jesus with his comedy.
As reported earlier the renowned clergyman described the skits as ‘nonsense” and further charged Christians in the country not to sit aloof for their God to be mocked.
The comment didn’t go well with Mzbel, who has previously publicly said she does not believe in Jesus Christ.
Commenting on Pastor Amoateng’s criticism about Mmbusem’s comedy, the ‘Tongues’ hit singer told the man of God to stop berating Mmebusem.
Mzbel asked critics of the skits to leave the fight to Jesus to fight for himself if indeed it is a mockery.
Her post as sighted by BrownGh.com read, “If this is truly a Mockery let Jesus fight his own fight! Leave Mmebusem alone ah!”
