Controversial Ghanaian clergyman, Prophet Kumchacha has stated boldly that wasting money on the national cathedral will be the last thing he will consider doing in his entire life.
According to Prophet Kumchacha, during the 2016 campaign, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo stated in his manifesto that should he win the election, he will build a cathedral for the nation and so Ghanaians are not obliged to pay any money towards the completion of the project.
During an exclusive deliberation with Fiifi Pratt on Kingdom Plus FM monitored by browngh.com, Kumchacha said that following the promise Akufo-Addo made, he won’t waste time and money on the cathedral.
Kumchacha also noted that there are several important things he can use his money for which will even help develop the country than donating towards the building of the cathedral.
He mentioned that the Kumasi-Accra highway is in a deplorable state and needs to be fixed.
He also argued that: ”there are a lot of important issues that need to fix in the country however the building of the National Cathedral is not need now and I will never contribute my money towards the project.”
Prophet Kumchacha further mentioned that, he will rather give my money to inmates at Nsawam Prisons than donate to support the building of the National Cathedral.
