The Accra regional police command has impounded 130 motorbikes for violating social distance protocol.

As a measure to halt the spread of Coronavirus in the country, motor riders were ban from carrying passengers in order to adhered to the social distance directive.

However, some motor riders were caught on some streets in Accra calling for passengers.

According to the Accra Regional Police Commander, DCOP Frederick Adu Anim, this exercise will be sustained across the region.

He added that divisional and district commanders have been tasked to do same in their respective areas of responsibilities.
