Undoubtedly, Ghanaian actor Ebenezer Akwasi Antwi popularly known as Ras Nene and now Dr. Likee is the most social media sensation following his infectious comedy.
The actor has so far this year showed his other side that has been hidden from the public and this has generated in a debate with a lot of people asking why he was never featured to play a comic role in movies.
The admiration for Ras Nene is still ongoing as Kumawood actor Sumsum Ahoufe eulogized him in an interview.
Speaking with Poleeno Multimedia on the topic ‘The Comeback Of Kumawood’, the self-acclaimed handsome actor Sumsum revealed that the digital platforms(Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Youtube) have really helped some actors and actress ever since the Kumawood movie hit the rock.
According to him, God has reasons for everything he does stating that some actors have been able to maintain their celebrity status after the Kumawood movie hit the rock.
Sumsum Ahoufe made mention of Ras Nene aka Likee and tagged him as the ‘man of the moment’ in the presence of Lilwin and other comedians.
To him, people who watch Ghanaian movies especially the ones from the Kumawood can attest for a fact that Ras Nene was always playing the role of an armed robber or a thug just because of his scary face, and hardly does he play a different role.
“… the youtube has really helped many actors, you look at Ras Nene, at first he was always given the role of an armed robber because of his scary face but now he counted among the best comedians in Ghana and I can even say he even say Lilwin is there but Ras Nene is the Man Of The Moment,” he told Poleeno.
So you mean Ras Nene is bigger than Lilwin?? Poleeno asked.
Sumsum replied that Ras Nene is never bigger than Lilwin but he will be placed first among other comedians which include Lilwin.
