Ghanaian singer Kelvyn Boy made headlines after he angrily stormed out of the auditorium when he lost out on the Afrobeats song of the year at the recently held Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMA).

‘Afrobeats song of the year’ and ‘Best Collaboration of the year were the two nominations Kelvyn Boy earned at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards but unfortunately, he failed to grab any of the awards in the categories he was nominated in.

The ‘Mea’ crooner lost his cool when DopeNation won the award for ‘Best Afrobeats song of the year’ and walked out of the auditorium.

The former Burniton Music Group signee action garnered mixed reactions on social media.

Kelvyn Boy, however, has taken to his social media handle to write something pertaining to last nights Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMA).

Kelvyn Boy shared a photo of himself with the caption that suggested that he is still the best in Afrobeats regardless of his defeat.

He wrote:

“I watch, smile and laugh because they don’t know.THE KING IS HERE AND YOU CAN NEVER CHANGE THAT #AFROBEATSBADMAN #BLACKSTAR”
