Barcelona coach Xavi has revealed he wants in-demand midfielder Sergi Roberto to renew his contract at the club, according to reports.
Roberto joined Barcelona when he was only 14 but since breaking into the first team of the club, he’s remained a fringe player at best. The 29 year old versatile player is now looking to move away from the Catalan club in order to play regularly as seen on online casinos.
He’s in the final year of his contract and while talks have stalled over a possible contract extension, Xavi is believed to have factored the player into his plan for the club.
However, the Catalan star is also on the radar of some of the top clubs of Europe. It appears that he’d consider a move to the Serie A or the Premier League.
Barcelona are in a financial crisis, so they are offloading some players who are big on their financial books. A contract extension for Roberto means he’d been demanding for a pay rise like it is with machines a sous en ligne which Barcelona may be unable to offer at the moment.
Xavi has stock with some youngsters which means even when Roberto is back from injury, he may continue to play from the bench.
Meanwhile, Xavi has showed prospect as a manager since he was appointed as a manager, he’d be looking to maintain the same form when they take on Villareal in the La Liga tomorrow.
