Social media drives people into depression and blind competition-Juliet Ibrahim

Ghanaian actress Juliet Ibrahim has detailed how social media affect the lives of some people negatively.

According to the beautiful screen goddess, social media drives people with weak minds into depression, mental breakdown, blind competition among others.

“Social media drives people with weak minds into depression, mental breakdown, blind competition and all sorts of negativity,” she disclosed in an interview with Showbiz.

Juliet Ibrahim who is very active on social media and has faced several trolls from users of such platforms detailed how she overcomes cyberbullying.

She disclosed that her only remedy to trolls is blocking and deleting.

According to her, she doesn’t entertain bullies so she blocks such people and deletes ‘negative’ comments.

“If a troll or bully decides to continue bothering me, I simply block the person. It’s really not that deep. When you’re too busy focusing on better and important things, petty things barely get your attention,”  she added.

She further indicated that she wouldn’t lose her sanity on social media because of the opinions of people who don’t even know her.
