Spurs ease past Stoke to reach last four of Carabao Cup

Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur ease past Stoke to reach the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup.

This means that Tottenham remains on track to win their first trophy since 2008 after beating Championship side Stoke City 3-1 to reach the Carabao Cup semi-finals.

Gareth Bale scored the first goal for Spurs with a header in the 22nd minute.

Stoke’s Jordan Thompson equalized with a smart finish in the 53rd minute.

Spurs regained the lead after Ben Davies scored from a long-range effort and Harry Kane scored the third goal to make sure his side secured a place in the semis.

Tottenham Hotspur joins holders Man City and Championship side Brentford in Wednesday evening’s semi-final draw.
