Steward scores goal with dildo and celebrates as he sends football fans wild

This is the moment a cheeky football steward scored a goal with a dildo during the League One clash between Lincoln City and Charlton.

The idea of a dildo at a football match might seem strange but, for whatever reason, they are becoming an increasingly common occurrence in the beautiful game.

In 2014, Sky Sports reporter Alan Irwin was poked in the ear with a purple sex-toy while reporting outside Everton’s training ground.

A West Ham United fan threw one onto the pitch during their Premier League fixture with Brighton three years ago.

And now a Lincoln steward has taken things one step further by scoring a hilarious dild-goal in front of a packed house at Sincil Bank.

After failing to score with his first attempt, he then returns for a second bite of the cherry.

As the dildo goes over the goaline and into the back of the net, the steward wheels off in celebration, arms aloft, while the fans behind the goal celebrate.

Twitter users loved it, with one joking: “It was a half c***** shot but he put his laces through the balls.”

Someone else added: “What football is all about.”

“Balon D’or nominee I reckon,” lampooned another.

While a fourth person commented: “Greatest sport in the world.”

Despite the steward showing the players how it should be done, there were no goals in the first-half at Sincil Bank.

Hosts Lincoln edged the statistics, managing six shots and 61 per cent possession, but could not find the back of the net.

Both sides are currently in the bottom-half of League One.
