Ace Ghanaian broadcaster Nana Aba Anamoah has said he will not allow her man to cook.
Speaking with Kojo Yankson on Joy FM’s Super Morning Show on Friday, she said cooking is a woman’s responsibility.
“I don’t want a man in the kitchen cooking; a man is there for a reason. I am supposed to treat my man well. I am supposed to cook for my man,” the award winning journalist said.
She stated unambiguously that the kitchen is her office and she does not want any man to invade her space.
“I know not too many feminists will be happy with this, but this is me; I am a conservative so I want a man to play traditional man roles,” Nana Aba said.
The host of State of Affairs and news editor at GhOne TV indicated that despite her busy schedules she will always find time to cook for her man because she does not want anyone to do that for him.
Ms Anamoah, however, observed that she might compromise if her man is a better cook while she improves her cooking skills to match his up.
She could not end her submission without sharing a word with men. She advised that they should be present in a relationship by sending their partners presents.
Nana Aba Anamoah joined other panelists including medical doctor and global health expert, Ohemaa Afia Kobi Prempeh, and broadcaster and singer Jackie Ankrah as they shared their divergent views on the topic on ‘Mistakes Men Make In Relationships’.
