‘This Government Is The Most Corrupt In The History Of Ghana’-Ibrah One Jabs Akufo-Addo

Ghanaian young millionaire and socialite Ibrah One has thrown shades at the current government current spearheaded by President Nana Akufo-Addo.

Lately, the current ruling NPP government have been accused of harbouring corrupt officials to the extent that Nana Akufo-Addo was accused by the main opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC) of shielding corrupt officials under his administration.

Although the president has denied such allegation levelled against him, Ibrah One still believes the current government is very corrupt.

The controversial socialite took to his social media handle to opined that the current government arrest ‘petty thieves’ and protect corrupt officials.

Ibrah One tagged the current governing administration as the most corrupt government in the history of Ghana.

“We hang the petty thieves and appoint the great ones in to public office.The most corrupt government in the history of Ghana” He wrote

Ibrah One’s assertion on the current government comes at the back of the recent comment made by the former presiding Bishop of Methodist Church of Ghana, Rev. Bishop Titus Awotwi Kofi Pratt.

According to him, political interference is the reason the security services have been unable to fight crime.

He added that political appointments of security heads affect their work.

He further indicated that due to the afforementioned the corrupt officials in the government are shielded and the ‘petty thieves’ are rather arrested.

“People who earn more and better way of salary and free/fringe benefits, occupying official houses with chauffeur driven cars, benefits come in thousands, they steal the most in the country.”Go around the prisons, as we go around to give communion, ‘he has stolen a fowl’, ‘he has stolen a goat’, some in remand for years, yet those who openly steal and plunder walk our streets, what kind of society is this?” he said
