Throwback Video Of Medikal Rapping In His SHS Uniform Pops Up

A throwback video of VGMA rapper of the year, Medikal rapping in his SHS uniform has sparked up some commentaries on social media.

In the video sighted by Browngh.com, the AMG rapper was seen exhibiting his rap prowess.

In the video, Medikal who attended Odogonno Senior High School was rapping whilst in class and u could see that he had the passion for rap music since the 80s.

Evidently, Medikal’s talent for music started way back in the SHS days and has currently grown to be one of the prolific rappers in Ghana.

The pioneer of the hiplife genre of music, Reggie Rockstone shared the video of Medikal rapping in his SHS uniform as he heaped praises on Medikal for his enormous musical talent and rapping prowess.

Reggie Rockstone commended the Omo Ada hitmaker for his passion for hip-hop and his determination.

He shared the video of the young-looking Medikal rapping with the caption:

Medikal started rapping since the 80’s

Medikal at this years Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMA) won the best rapper of the year ahead of Sarkodie, Medikal, Teephlow, Flowking Stone among others.

He also won the award for the best hiplife artiste of the year following his massive efforts he put in under the year of review.

These two awards dispelled the bad moment he had in the 2017 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

The AMG rapper was nominated in 7 different categories but failed to walk home with a single award after he had a very impressive year.

Medikal in an interview revealed that he felt devastated after he failed to win an award at the VGMAs but he was encouraged by Shatta Wale who urged him to remain strong because winning awards never justifies an artiste but talent.
