Ever since the climax of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMA), there have been lots of conversations surrounding it.
Nominees, industry players and music enthusiasts have expressed their disappointment at the organisers for awarding undeserving artistes in some categories.
Veteran highlife singer, Rex Omar has also added his voice to the issues surrounding the just held VGMA.
According to him, organisers of the VGMAs were not fair to King Promise and Eno Barony as they both failed to win an award.
He explained that considering the exploits of the two artistes, they should have won in the categories they were nominated.
“I am very disappointed that King Promise did no win his nominations on Saturday because the young man is doing very very well,Even his vocals and performance on the night was a testament to how good he is. Eno to me right now she is on top of her game when it comes to rap” Rex Omar disclosed.
Rex Omar was quick to add that not winning shouldn’t discourage King Promise but it should rather push him to work harder and at the right time, he will be recognised.
“Let this urge you on because one award will not determine you, keep on doing you and I think that you have it” he disclosed in an interview on Hitz FM monitored by browngh.com.
