Music producer and Managing Director of Media Excel Production Kwesi Ernest has lashed out at Ghanaian artistes for their consistent poor performances at various events.
Ghanaian artistes have been criticized primarily over their performance and the inability of most artistes to do a live performance at events.
Some artists have been heavily criticized lately over their poor performance at the just held Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMA).
Reacting to the consistent poor performances of Ghanaian artistes at events, Kwesi Ernest blamed Ghanaian artistes for their bad performances at the event.

According to him, Sarkodie, Samini, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale will remain relevant in the music fraternity due to their electrifying stagecraft.
“The way the trend is going some artistes will really live long in Ghana. Artistes such as Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and Samini. These artistes will continue to reign in the music industry for a long time because of their performances.” Kwesi Ernest told Andy Dosty on Hitz FM’s DaybreakHitz show.
He added that artistes should note that their performances at events will earn them another job so they should be more concerned in putting up stellar performances at events.
“An artiste must always understand that every stage that they stand on must bring you another job.every platform you go as an artist must yield you another performance. It is the reason why Musicians have to sleep early. Majority of our musicians don’t sleep early, They don’t rehearse, apart from rehearsals they don’t want to hire people to even groom them and train them and besides that, it’s all about sex for Ghanaian artistes.” Kwesi Ernest noted.
The popular Music producer and entertainment pundit also noted that most Ghanaian artistes are more concerned about holding their ‘balls’ than concentrating on their performances.
“What is it in the balls of these our GH musicians that anytime they come on stage their balls..Is it hernia that is causing them that an artiste comes on stage instead of looking at performance the only thing that he is concerned about is holding their balls. Today Barcelona defenders have even forgotten that they have balls and they are there defending their poles.GH Musicians the only thing they do is holding their balls every day. What is it in their ‘balls’.” Kwesi Ernest stressed.
He, therefore, advised Ghanaian artistes to learn in the game than blame event organisers for their flaws in performances at events.
