Th 2019 Africa Cup of Nations(AFCON) successfully came to a climax on Friday 19th July 2019 in Egypt.

However, prior to the final match against Algeria and Senegal, some African musicians thrilled football fans with thrilling performances.

Our very own, Fuse ODG was part of the performers at the closing ceremony of the finals.

Algeria won the 2019 AFCON title since 1990 courtesy a bizarre goal in the second minute of a 1-0 victory over Senegal.

Baghdad Bounedjah’s strike took a deflection off a Senegalese defender Salif sane and looped high into the air before nesting into the back of the net with goalkeeper Alfred Gomis rooted to the spot.

Although the match was centred on  Manchester City’s Riyad Mahrez and Liverpool’s Sadio Mane, they both failed to rise to the occasion.
