We will never return our VGMA plaques – Shatta Wale tells Charterhouse


After the brawl between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy at this year’s VGMA, the two Dancehall giants were sanctioned by the organizers of the awards scheme later asked them to return the award plaques they won at that night to Charterhouse.

Well, the popular Reggae-Dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr. known as Shatta Wale has disclosed in an interview that he will not return the VGMA plaques to Charterhouse also added that Stonebwoy will also not return the plaques he also has in this possession.

According to the ‘Gringo’ hitmaker, they both worked so hard for the awards they won, and they are not returning something the Fans worked very hard for.

He added that Charterhouse should forget about the awards, adding that they deserve it and will do anything to defend it.

” I Never Had The Chance To Hold My Awards So I Don’t Think I Will Be Returning Something I Didn’t Hold. Moreover, I Don’t Know Where And Who Took The Awards.

Aside that, Stonebwoy Or I will never return the plaques because it’s something the Fans worked very hard for, and so both us, i.e. Stonebwoy and I have to defend it. Charterhouse should forget it, we are not returning anything”, Shatta Wale stated.
